Descrizione
This book sets out to illustrate in a synthetic, compact and self-contained manner the principal results of topology as used in economics. In particular, it provides the tools necessary to understand the problems connected with the broad, central concept of «equilibrium»: from Nash’s, which characterizes non-cooperative games, to the Walrasian equilibrium, which a competitive economy achieves, to the stable «core» configuration, which emerges in cooperative games, which in turn entertain close ties with the Walrasian approach.
